The company began a challenge on their Facebook-page on 6 May to fix all potholes, tagging about 80 businesses and institutions within the community to take part.

They completed a project at the intersection of Von Backström and Charl Cilliers Street on 3 May, one in Baumann Street on 13 May, as well as currently fixing the majority of potholes in Beyers Naudé Street.

After each completion, a video was posted on Facebook, creating awareness and Mica, Midas, Hoërskool Standerton, PG Glass and Ekker Valley accepted the challenge and repaired potholes in their vicinity.

Certain individuals took it upon themselves to fix a pothole in front of their homes as well.

Compass is still receiving calls from the business community, advising that they will be taking part in the challenge.

All videos/posts can be viewed on Facebook at Compass Eiendomme / Compass Real Estate

Tar can be bought from Standerton Mica who can be contracted to repair the potholes.
