Sinenhlanhla brings home two crowns after competing in the Miss Teen Prime South Africa and Miss Inspire pageants

She was lucky enough to have her mother design and make the beautiful gowns she adorned for the pageants.

SECUNDA – Sinenhlanhla Skhosana (16) was crowned Miss Teen Ekasi last year and set her eyes on 2019 being filled with dominating the pageant world.

This grade 11 learner at Hoƫrskool Oosterland recently competed in the Miss Teen Prime South Africa and Miss Inspire pageants.

She managed to scoop the second princess crown for both pageants.

Miss Teen Prime South Africa took place in the North West Province on 2 March.

Sinenhlanhla travelled with her mother, her younger sister, grandmother and a family friend for support.

The build up to the main event came after she was notified about being in the top 12.

She was lucky enough to have her mother design and make the beautiful gowns she wore for the pageants.

After winning the ‘Miss Teen eKasi’ pageant, Sinenhlanhla qualified to take on the ‘Miss Inspire’ pageant as a semi-finalist in the teen category.

Miss Inspire took place in Benoni on 30 March.

“The pageants have taught me a lot about myself. It taught me to be confident, to love myself more and most of all to respect others.

“Both pageants were tough, but I managed to bring home the crowns. In both pageants I was the only one who was representing Mpumalanga,” said Sinenhlanhla.
