MEC for Public Works, Roads and Transport and Executive Mayor of municipality officially hands over Ennis and Naude Streets

The Department recently completed the rehabilitation of Ennis and Naudé streets in Ermelo which started at the beginning of March 2019. The project cost R17 million and created 40 work opportunities for the locals.

The MEC for Public Works, Roads and Transport, Mr Gillion Mashego, accompanied by the Executive Mayor of Msukaligwa Local Municipality, Cllr Buti Joseph Mkhaliphi, officially handed over Ennis and Naude Streets on Thursday, 11 April.

The project cost R17-million and created 40 work opportunities for the locals.

Members of the community had negative reactions towards the celebration of the rehabilitation of these streets.
