SECUNDA – Linda Margaret Swart (49) who is known as Belinda Swart, pleaded guilty to drug possession charges today, 3 April.
She appeared in the Secunda Magistrate’s Court this morning along with two co-accused, Messrs Therandran Frank Naidoo (36) and Japhet Chiebuka Onuoha (Jeff) (32). The trio were arrested in August last year in an operation by Hawks SANEB (South African Narcotics Enforcement Bureau) Mpumalanga, Secunda Dog Unit and Crime Intelligence.
The case against the men were provisionally withdrawn before Swart pleaded guilty.
Magistrate Faith Kekana revoked Swart’s bail.
Swart will remain in police custody until 6 May for sentencing.
