Ermelo Police are investigating two cases of rape that was reported last weekend.
The first incident occurred on Saturday, 2 March at 7.30pm. The complainant is 15 years old.
“Several students were at a house party in Fourie Street,” said Capt Carla Prinsloo, Ermelo Police spokesman.
According to the complainant, she was tired at the party and went to lie down in her friend’s bedroom.
She woke up when the suspect kissed and then raped her.
The suspect has since been arrested.
The second incident took place on Sunday, 3 March at 2am.
The complainant (21), was at a tavern when an unknown man forced her into a remote area and raped her.
