SECUNDA – A motorist had to be cut out of his bakkie after a water tanker drove over the vehicle this morning, 17 December.
The accident happened at the traffic lights turn off into Walter Sisulu Drive from Evander.
The municipal emergency workers used the jaws of life to extract the driver from the crushed bakkie.
He was seriously injured.
ER24 transported the driver to hospital.
Langamed South transported the passenger.
Jelani Security, the police, Sectri Autobody, and traffic were also helping on the scene.
