Parents demand more English classes at Nyandeni Primary School

According to the parents, further meetings will be held and they were promised no learner will be turned away.

Parents of learners of Nyandeni Primary School demanded a meeting with the Department of Education over more English classes on 22 November.

The parents say they want more classes that offer the children English as a first language.

They demanded a meeting Ms Yasmeen Mohamed, Standerton Circuit Manager.

They arrived at the circuit offices in the morning, but were only granted a meeting at 3pm.

According to the parents, further meetings will be held and they were promised no learner will be turned away.
