Feral cats benefit from fundraiser at Eastvaal Motors

Spectators were asked to donate food for cats and other kitty necessities that Feral Watch TNR can use for the work among the feral colonies in and around Secunda.

SECUNDA – Strong men and women flocked to Eastvaal Motors to test their endurance against the best in flipping huge tractor tyres on Saturday, 17 November.

The record setting team of Chris Liebenberg and Chris Batts, aka TeamChris, flipped this tyre for two hours non-stop.

This attempt was to raise awareness for the plight of feral cats colonies in the area.

Spectators were asked to donate food for cats and other kitty necessities that Feral Watch & TNR can use for the work among the feral colonies in and around Secunda.

Mr Liebenberg of TeamChris is the new sales manager at Eastvaal Motors.

He said this is the first of many events to come in aid of non-profitable organisations.

People who want to support Feral Watch & TNR, can follow them on Facebook and donate towards food for the colonies and vet bills.
