TRICHARDT – Two motorists have been seriously injured at the Syferfontein Mine turnoff on the N17 highway this morning, 18 October.
The accident happened at about 9.15 when a Peugeot and Hyundai collided near Vlaklaagte. Emergency workers had to use the jaws of life to free the injured from the wreckages.
One lane of the highway has been closed off.
The municipal firebrigade, Jelani Security, ER24, Langamed South, Sectri Autobody, Car Doctor, JTR and GTR are still on the scene.
