Entrepreneur in beauty industry tastes success

She has been on the Annique-sales team for the past three years and the road to her success stems from a realisation of her own worth.

With a name like Beauty, the beauty industry seems to be tailored to your needs as a local entrepreneur found out.

Ms Beauty Mkhwanazi was crowned Personality of the Year at the Direct Selling Association (DSA) of South Africa’s annual luncheon in Johannesburg on 24 July, with Ms Irma Viljoen at her side.

The DSA was founded in 1972 and represents direct selling companies that distribute goods and services to consumers directly, away from a fixed retail location.

She has been on the Annique-sales team for the past three years and the road to her success stems from a realisation of her own worth.

“I was tired of working for other people and needed to do something that fulfilled me,” she said.

The mother of Joy (18) and Nokukhanya (4) is born and bred in Standerton and completed a Marketing Management Diploma that was put to good use as an independent consultant.

Behind the steering wheel of her brand-new 2017 Toyota Aygo she would perhaps travel to neighbouring towns for an appointment with a woman in need of a facial.
