SECUNDA – The body of an unknown man was found in the open field behind Fireplace Roadhouse at about 11am today, 25 July.
According to Mr Chris du Bruyn from ER24 the body is partially decomposed. He estimated that the man has been dead for about a week.
Capt Bettina Zondo said a homeless person who went to do his laundry in the stream in this field, stumbled upon the body and alerted the police.
The deceased was possibly also a vagabond.
He was wearing a powder blue t-shirt, a grey jersey with red stripes, grey trousers and safety boots.
