LEANDRA – Suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of money after an armed robbery at Spar on Friday night, 25 May.
A security guard was shot and killed.
A large group of armed suspects entered the Spar at about 7.45pm and ordered customers to lie down on the floor.
They bombed the safe with explosives, while several of the gunmen kept a watch outside.
The suspects fled in various getaway cars and a van stolen on the scene.
No arrests have been made yet.
Leandra Police are investigating a case of armed robbery and murder.
