Four armed suspects steal car and cell phone from Chestnut Park flats in Evander

The stolen vehicle was a black Polo STI with the registration number CN 44 CG GP.

Evander – Four unknown men stormed into Chestnut Park flats this morning, 23 May. A security guard was tied with his shoelaces at gunpoint. He was ordered to lie on the floor and his cell phone was stolen.

Another security guard managed to see the men load personal belongings into the car before they fled. The police discovered the suspects climbed over the wall and lifted the electric fence to gain access into the complex. The stolen vehicle was a black Polo STI with the registration number CN 44 CG GP.

The tracking device was found next to the parking lot. The owner of the vehicle lives at Chestnuts.

No shots were fired and no person was injured.
Police are still looking for the suspects.
