United Motors launches its Mercedes-Benz X-Class

The X-Class shifts the limits of the classic bakkie world, yet remains true to it.

SECUNDA – United Motors launched the latest Mercedes-Benz addition to the vehicle industry, the X-Class, on Friday, 11 May.

The launch was marked with elegant dancers and hard rockers that could be interpreted as the depiction of the X-Class in dance – as elegant as can be expected from a Mercedes-Benz, combined with the rugged toughness of a bakkie.

The X-Class shifts the limits of the classic bakkie world, yet remains true to it. Although it breaks fresh ground as an urban lifestyle and family vehicle, the X-Class essentially remains a robust, functional bakkie with off-road capability, and is up to practically any challenge.

Guests were treated to snacks and a spectacular show. The men received Mercedes-Benz caps and the women key rings as gifts of appreciation.
