Community leaders plan mass march about service delivery

The emphasis at the protest will be on alleged corruption and maladministration as well as the removal of the Lekwa Mayor, Mr Linda Dhalmini, Speaker, Ms Harriet Khotha and a Member of the Mayoral Committee, Ms Thoko Malinga.

Community leaders in Lekwa are planning a mass march on 3 May because of the lack of service delivery.

The emphasis at the protest will be on alleged corruption and maladministration as well as the removal of the Lekwa Mayor, Mr Linda Dhlamini, Speaker, Ms Harriet Khotha and a Member of the Mayoral Committee, Ms Thoko Malinga.

The issue of unemployment and lack of economic development will also be on the agenda.

The march will begin at the Sakhile Stadium at 9am before protesters will make their way to the Lekwa municipal building.
