Residents living in the areas around Solly’s, Hoërskool Oosterland and Danie Theron, Coen Brits, Brandspruit and Twistdraai Street are still without electricity.
According to Ms Mariaan Chamberlain, DA councillor, the team faces many challenges.

“They opened the cables at Hodgson Street and now a water pipe is damaged,” said Ms Chamberlain.
“The team will carry on working.”
Ms Chamberlain asked a local company to help with equipment and Gijima provided the equipment to help fix the cables.
