Nceduluntu Child Foundation gives back to the eMbalenhle community

Foundation donates sanity towels, school uniforms and shoes to primary schools.

The Nceduluntu Child Foundation gives back to the children of the community.

It is a non-profit organisation aimed at dealing with pressing issues at primary school level.

The foundation was founded by Ms Busiswa Boloshe, Ms Nosithembiso Boloshe and Ms Engrid Nkadimeng in September last year.

The goal is to uplift and build the confidence of children at a young age, to give them a chance to live freely outside of situations that they have no control over.

“We target primary schools and nurture them while they are still young. We believe that when you touch a young heart, you shape not only their future but our entire country’s future as well,” said the founders of the organisation.

Ms Boloshe, a former learner from Buyani Primary School, was approached by a learner who did not have access to sanity towels.

She helped her and involved her sister, Ms Nosithembiso, to make donations to the school. Ms Nkadimeng later joined the foundation.

The foundation hopes to change the way that children see situations at home and give them a chance to rise above all that they lack among their peers.

“Building confidence ensures they are aware of themselves and can believe that through education one can shape their futures. Our great achievement would be to see those children who we have helped, succeeding and excelling in their school work and are able to make their dreams come true by being in school.

“Education opens a lot of opportunities for everyone, so it would make us really happy to see the kids of our community excelling academically,” said Ms Boloshe.

During their first project, the foundation donated sanity towels and school shoes.

KA Resources approached the foundation as a sponsor for their second project to donate uniforms and sanity towels.

“A learner from Shapeve Primary School came to thank us and added fuel to our ambitions to keep helping the kids.

“We never want to stop helping them in any way possible,” said Ms Nkadimeng.

The foundation hopes to get the community to also make donations.

One of the difficulties that the foundation faces, is to get learners to say when they are facing problems.

The foundation’s future goals include getting professionals on board to assist with counselling, to help the learners succeed in school and to receive regular updates.
