Learners in grade 11 and 12 enjoy career exhibition at the Ella De Bruin Hall

“By bringing this service to the learners we hope to empower them to make more informed choices after Grade 12,” Dr Martin Esterhuizen, said.

The Department of Education held a career exhibition for Grade 11 and 12 learners at the Ermelo Civic Hall last Wednesday and Thursday.

Circuits from Msukaligwa 1, Msukaligwa 2, Breyten and Carolina joined the event.

The learners were divided into three groups, one for Mathematics, Science and Technology, one for Commerce and one for General and Skills.

Groups were escorted to their specific group where they could interact with exhibitors in the specific field.

Exhibitors from tertiary institutions, TVET colleges, Department of Higher Education and Training and the Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) joined to make it a successful exhibition.
