[BREAKING NEWS] Kriel Police officer shoots policeman then herself
Cases of murder and an inquest were opened at Kriel Police Station.
Capt Bafana Nkosi, a policeman from Kriel, was shot and killed this morning, 12 February at about 2am in the room where he lived.
According to Sgt Gerald Sedibe, provincial spokesman of the police, another police officer, Sgt Ivy Mathebela, went to Capt Nkosi’s room, knocked and shot him when he opened the door.
She then shot herself.
Capt Nkosi’s colleague remember him as a nice and friendly person.
Sgt Sedibe said a case of murder and an inquest were opened and police are investigating.
