Former Nedbank Ke Yona Captain and Bidvest Wits soccer’s Bongani Mbuli gave back to his former schools and the community in Ermelo last Thursday,1 February.
The player, in partnership with Nedbank and the Sports Trust, handed over a kit to children at his former schools, Qambekile Primary School and Lindile Secondary School.

Mbuli was one of the selected candidates in 2016 and captained the team that played against Nedbank Cup champions, SuperSport United.
Following the match, Mbuli underwent a month-long trial at Premier Soccer League (PSL) champions, Bidvest Wits, where he did enough to impress coach, Mr Gavin Hunt, who offered him his first ever professional contract.
