Thwahlele Primary School, in Sheepmoor, held their annual Grade 7 farewell function at Die Oogappel in Ermelo last Friday.
Learners who excelled in the Mathematics Fun Competition also received certificates and medals for their achievements in mathematics.
The Mathematics Fun Competition began at the school in January by Ms Sibongile Masombuka, a mathematics teacher.

It aims to motivate learners to do their best as well as love the subject.
Altogether 20 learners were recipients of the awards as they have obtained levels 6 and 7.
