Two people die in accident on road between Bethal and Hendrina

At approximately 6pm last night, paramedics of ER24 and the local EMS arrived at the scene where they found a car that has been split in half.

The two occupants were found with fatal injuries.

A woman that was a passenger in the xar, as well as the occupants from the bakkie, were treated at the scene and transported to a nearby hospital for further care.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision is not yet known.

Local authorities attended to the scene and will conduct an investigation.
