About 70 middle class residents protested at the Msukaligwa Municipality this afternoon, 8 November.
According to the protesters, they were promised land in Ext 7 but the promises were not kept.
The executive mayor, Mr BJ Mkaliphi, addressed the protesters and agreed that houses worth R40 000 each were being built.
The protesters were not satisfied.
