[IMPORTANT NOTICE] These towns will be affected by planned shutdown of water supply

A planned shutdown of water supply will take place at Bloemendal Pump Station tomorrow, 8 November from 6am to 6pm to commission a new substation.

These areas will be affected during the shutdown period:

* Sasol Shondoni Mine
* Leslie town & township
* Sakhisizwe
* Eendracht
* Kinross Ext 25
* Kinross Thistle Grove
* Kinross Town

Evander, Trichardt, Lebohang RDP and eMbalenhle will be relying on the internal storage.

The capacity is apparently enough to supply these areas with water during the shutdown.

These areas will be supplied from Rand Water Wildebees Reservoirs:

* Secunda
* Sasol Mine
* Bethal

DA Councillor, Marietjie Fourie said there is a possibility that Bethal might not have water tomorrow.

Residents are however urged to store water for use during this period.
