Man dies in accident between Leandra and Delmas yesterday afternoon

One man died and one sustained moderate injuries in an accident on the R50 road yesterday afternoon.

A Citi Golf and a BMW collided about 15km outside Leandra on the way to Delmas.

Langamed South Ambulance Services transported the driver of the BMW, who is allegedly a police member, to a local hospital.

He sustained a fractured leg.

The road was closed for about an hour to clear the accident scene.
