NOTICE: Water supply shutdown to affect Standerton residents

A notice is hereby given to the residents of Lekwa Municipality of a planned shutdown of water supply on 13 September.

It will be from 8am to 4pm due to the following reasons:

* To install a scour valve on the pumping main line and;

* To repair some leaks on the pumping main line to the square reservoir

The affected areas are:

*Waterfront

*Houses along Paarl street

*Schwickard Street

*Standerton Extensions 6,7,8

*Sakhile Extension 2

The community is urged to store water for use during this period.

The municipality apologised for any inconvenience that this may cause.
