Netherland Park Secondary School (NPSS) hosted its very first sports and open day at the school grounds on Saturday.
The school has participated in many a friendly tournament in netball and soccer and decided to host their own sports day held in conjunction with an open day where potential Grade 8s were given a tour of the school.
Teams from Ermelo Combined School competed against NPSS in soccer, netball and table tennis, a new sport introduced to the school.
Grade 8 learners enjoyed more than just sport, as they were taken on a tour of the school and even participated in a few scientific experiments.
