The Practical Radical and Economic Transformation (Pret) handed over a cheque of R50 000 to the Vukuzimele Home Base Centre in Sakhile on 15 August.
Pret’s main aim is to fight unemployment, ensure economic transformation, help small businesses to create employment and help corporate businesses to invest within communities.
This civil organisation recently also gave food parcels to the value of R160 000 to 2 000 needy families in Sakhile.
According to Mr Nicholas Selepe, an amount of R1-mil was allocated to Mpumalanga on 9 August and Vukuzimele was chosen as recipient.
