A Ford Ranger burned this morning on the R546 road at Brendan Village turn off.
According to Mr Alf Byleveldt, one of the first people on the scene, the car was already burning when he arrived.
The driver was able to get out of the car and escaped unharmed.
The Govan Mbeki Municipality firefighters were summoned, however when they arrived the car was already burned out.
The cause of the accident is unknown.
