A 33-year-old man was arrested last Friday for housebreaking and theft.
It is alleged he broke into a house last week and stole an undisclosed amount of money and was seen running away by the domestic worker.
According to the police, the man returned to the same house and broke a window.
The domestic worker saw him before he could enter the house and contacted the police who apprehended him.
He is expected to appear in the Secunda Magistrate’s Court soon.
