TVET GS College hosts expo on building a future

The exhibition began on Monday, 15 May in Embalenhle and ended in Ermelo last Thursday.

The Department of Higher Education and Training, in partnership with the TVET GS College in Standerton, recently held a Career Exhibition.

According to Dr Martin Esterhuizen, an organiser of the event from the department in the Gert Sibande District, between 4 000 to 5 000 children would have been reached with this four day expo.

The exhibition began on Monday, 15 May in Embalenhle and ended in Ermelo last Thursday.

Mr John Oscar Kubeka (Marketing and Communication Department: GS College) explains to the learners what the college can offer regarding higher education.

Dr Esterhuizen said it will be an annual event.

Higher education institutions such as Brooklyn City College, Tshwane University of Technology, GS College, Drum Beat Academy, University of Pretoria, Pretoria Technical College Secunda Branch, Damelin, Fibre Processing & Manufacturing Sector and Training Authority (FP&M SETA), Public Service Sector Education & Training (PSETA) and GS College Skills Academy to name a few were in attendance.
