Three suspects arrested in connection with possession of drugs

They discovered three parcels of dagga and eight mandrax pills.

The Standerton K9 Unit, together with a dog handler from the Narcotic Unit, apprehended three suspects last Friday in connection with possession of drugs.

While on patrol in Sakhile in the Crossroads section, Const Mbuyiselwa Mahlangu noticed a man coming out of a shack who allegedly hid something in his jacket pocket.

The officer immediately stopped to ask him what he was putting in his pocket and the suspect ran away.

The police, comprising of Const Mahlangu and Sgt Madonsela, entered the shack and found three men.

After introducing themselves as police and explaining the reason for the visit, they asked to search them and their place, to which they agreed.

They discovered three parcels of dagga and eight mandrax pills.
