Two men were killed in a head-on collision on the N17 highway near Kinross this afternoon.
Two men were killed in a head-on collision on the N17 highway near Kinross this afternoon.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene, they found a bakkie on one side of the highway, while a light motor vehicle was on the opposite side.
Both vehicles had extensive damage.
Upon inspection, paramedics found that both motorists, both men, had sustained fatal injuries.
They were declared dead on the scene.
Traffic was heavily affected in the area due to the collision.
The cause of the collision is not yet known, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
Langamed South Ambulance Services from Secunda were also on the scene.
