Bethal powerless again

Residents of Ext 3 in Bethal have been without power since 5.30pm.

A Govan Mbeki Municipal call centre agent has acknowledged the problem and that power outages have been reported in some streets outside Ext 3.

She said a team has been dispensed to identify the problem and to restore electricity to the affected areas.

Residents may have to wait a while longer for the power to be restored as the call center said there is only one truck to service the many calls logged this evening.
