LEANDRA – Mr Sifiso (Gusheshe) Nkabinde loves mathematics and is keen to help those who struggle with it.
He has founded the tutoring programme 94x Squared Tutoring.
It provides various programmes and helps learners of all levels with extra help in maths and science.
“I love maths and science.
“Many young people are not doing well in these subjects, not because they are difficult to grasp, but because of their perspective and attitude towards them.
“At 94x Squared we want to change people’s perceptions about these subjects,” said Mr Nkabinde.
He got his love for maths from his teacher, Mr MG Zwane, and Mr Ronnie Bhomela, his tutor.
Mr Nkabinde attended the University of the Witwatersrand to study BSc Computational and Applied Mathematics.
Since the establishment of 94x Squared, he has received several testimonies from learners who have improved their grades through his help.
“We also provide matric rewriting programmes for those who want to improve their matric grades.
“We have an after care programme for primary school learners, as well as extra classes for high school learners.
“We do not only help struggling learners, but also those who are not comfortable with average results.”
