Woman stabbed with bread knife in Sakhile

She said the incident occurred at her boyfriend’s house

A woman was allegedly stabbed with a bread knife in her neck by her boyfriend on 19 February.

According to the complainant, an argument that broke out between them resulted in the stabbing.

She said the incident occurred at her boyfriend’s house in Sakhile.

The complainant also said he slapped her before the stabbing.

According to her, he also stabbed her with a steel rod in her stomach and hit her with it on her forehead.

She said she managed to escape and went to the his sister’s house.

Apparently the man followed her to the house.

The man arrived shortly after the woman and his sister called the police.

A case of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm was opened.
