Ward 30 residents will soon be speaking Zulu

Residents of Ward 30 in Secunda will soon be chatting in Zulu .

SECUNDA – You are never too old to learn a new skill and learning a new language could definitely be worth your while.

After various requests from the local community, DA Ward 30 councillors have decided to embark on an intensive 10 week Zulu course.

The classes begin in March and according to Mr Tim Denny, ward councillor, the plan is to have as many residents as possible speaking Zulu as soon as possible.

“We are serious about this and can not wait to begin the course.”

The “Pu Zulu for Beginners” book will be used and with the guidance of their Zulu speaking teacher, they hope to be more than proficient, if not fluent yet, in the near future.
