Relay for Life launched with excitement

SECUNDA – Cansa Secunda celebrated the official launch of this year’s Cansa Relay for Life on Tuesday, 31 January.
Ms Gisele Bosman from Cansa said: “We hope to attract more people than last year.
“If you know of anyone who had died of cancer, please send an email with a photo of them and details to the organiser, Ms Charné Olivier, at o.charne@yahoo.com.
“Those who did not survive cancer, will also be honoured at the Relay for Life.”
Cansa needs sponsorship in order to make a success of the event.
Ms Olivier said: “We are excited about this year’s relay and have new challenges, as well as a new venue.
“We invite everyone to come and enjoy a fun-filled, but also emotional day with us.”
There will be prizes to be won and businesses, schools and individual teams are encouraged to enter the relay.
It is an ideal event to build team spirit.
The relay takes place at Sasol Club on 4 March.
