GS Cup launched
The tournament will be held on 28 January at AJ Swanepoel with kick off and jump ball at 10:00
This year’s Gert Sibande Cup Tournament was launched during a media briefing at the Gert Sibande District Municipality last Thursday.
During the launch held at the Animal Farm Boardroom, the MMC for Community and Social Services Cllr Dumisile Nhlengethwa said the tournament is aimed at unearthing local talent.
She also said their mission and vision is to encourage positive and healthy living to local youth through sports.
This year’s winners in soccer will walk away with a trophy, medals and R30 000 cash price and the netball winners will also receive a trophy, medals and R15 000 cash prise.

Mombela United and Witbank Spurs have confirmed their participation.
