Man stabbed and left for dead next to road

The patient had a badly swollen right eye and a stab wound to his left buttock.

Const Happy Tsotetsi of the Sakhile Police responded to a call about a man that was attacked in the Mandela Section Crossroads and found him lying on the side of the road.

Const Tsotetsi was notified by a member of the Community Policing Forum (CPF) on Sunday, 23 October that an ambulance transported the man to the Standerton Hospital.

The police were informed at the hospital that the victim was in a coma due to his injuries.

The patient had a badly swollen right eye and a stab wound to his left buttock.

The victim’s identity and circumstances leading to the attack are unknown.

According to Const Tsotetsi, the victim’s age can be between 20 and 30 years and he confirmed that an assault case was opened.
