Group of women attack alleged robber in Standerton

“The women were furious and kept on beating him as he tried to flee,” Ms Sheppard said.

A man got beaten by a group of women in front of Bee Trading on 26 October about 4.05pm after he allegedly robbed a woman near the Standerton Taxi Rank.

Ms Barbara Sheppard, owner of Bee Trading, first thought they were beating a woman and immediately called Kasselman Security Services.

“The women were furious and kept on beating him as he tried to flee,” Ms Sheppard said.

Kasselman and the Standerton Police caught the alleged robber in front of the Standerton Bakery where he was arrested and charged with theft.
