Two cars set alight in eMba

eMBALENHLE – The torching of cars are now also taking place in eMbalenhle.

Police said two cars in Extension 26 and White City Section were set alight last week.

Capt Magonseni Nkosi, police spokesman, said both car owners belong to Sasol Mine employees.

He said no one has been arrested yet and that the police cannot associate the incidents with the Amcu strike because there is not evidence.

“Similar cases were reported in eMzinoni and as a cluster we are still trying to help eMzinoni with this.

“Our duty is to protect the community and we will continue doing so.”
