Standerton Police Station undergoes renovations

“The Community Service Centre (CSC) will move to a container outside the station,”

The Standerton Police Station is currently undergoing renovations that will impact on operations for the next 24 months.

According to the Standerton Police, there will be slight changes during this period.

They said the renovations included replacing old tiles on the floors with new ones, painting the walls and removing and replacing the ceiling.

According to Capt Nhlabathi, the building is old and needed to be renovated to improve its appearance.

“The Community Service Centre (CSC) will move to a container outside the station,” Capt Fanie Nhlabathi, communications officer of the Standerton Police, said.

The CSC is where resident make enquiries, report illegal activities, make affidavits and certify documents.

Capt Nhlabathi requested residents to use the Sakhile Police Station and other institutions such as the Standerton Magistrate’s Court to certify documents.
