Burglars gain access to Secunda complex
Estimated value of goods stolen about R24 000.
SECUNDA – Two unkown men speaking Zulu forced the back door of a flat open with an unknown instrument at about 12.45pm today.
The intruders gained access to the flat through the main-gate of the complex and left the same way.
There was a woman inside the flat at the time of the robbery, but she was not harmed.
The burglars instructed her to hide in the bedroom and threatened to shoot and kill her is she did not comply.
The men stole two tablets, two pairs of shoes, an undisclosed amount of cash and two 46 inch televisions.
The estimated value of the stolen goods is R23 500.
The burglars fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.
The police are investigating and asked that any person with information, contact the Secunda Police urgently.
