A 32-year-old suspect was arrested in Davel last Wednesday and charged with dealing in dagga after police followed up on information received from the public.
A police spokesman at Davel said Cost PE Nhlanhla went to investigate after a man was seen acting suspiciously at a residence in Davel.
Two tins and a plastic bag containing “pinches” of dagga with a combined weight of 563 g were found in the house.
The suspect appeared in the Ermelo Magistrate’s Court last Thursday on charges of dealing in dagga.
