LEANDRA – The two men who shot Mr Chris van Deventer on his farm were sentenced to 16 years’ imprisonment on Wednesday, 8 June.
Mr Deventer was shot in the stomach and died in hospital last March.
Thapelo Magingwana and Mzwakhe Madonsela, both 22 years old, were found in possession of two cell phones and a firearm that belonged to Mr Van Deventer.
In another case, Kenny Ndlovu and Doctor Fakude got five years’ imprisonment for breaking into Shoprite in 2010.
