Julius Malema promises black people land

"No white man came with land in a paperbag, we want our land back".

eMBALENHLE – Mr Julius Malema, president of the Economic Freedom Fighters, addressed the masses at a community meeting in Extension 14 this afternoon.

Mr Malema told the thousands of residents who attended the meeting that his government will make sure that black people own land.

He said the EFF wants to give back land to those it belongs to, namely the black people.

“No white man came with land in a paperbag, we want our land back.

“Without land, blacks will never be rich.

“It is time that the economy is in the hands of the black people,” he said.

Mr Malema further said in his government businesses and the rich will subsidise the poor and pay for municipal services.

“We want free water and electricity for the poor, it is possible and it is doable.

“We will also build spacious houses, not what the ANC is doing.”

He was referring to the RDP houses.

Mr Malema called on residents to stop voting for the ANC and to vote for the EFF.

Concluding his speech, Mr Malema called on residents to attend his party’s June 16th Rally that will be held at Risko Fakude Stadium in eMbalenhle.
