Three arrested in Ermelo for dealing in CAT

BREAKING NEWS:

Three people aged between 23 and 29 were arrested in Ermelo on Monday 23 May on charges of dealing in the drug Methcathinone also known as CAT.

CAT with a street value of R16, 250 was confiscated.

Police spokesperson for Ermelo, Capt Carla Prinsloo said the three, Emeka Ucke (29), Larisa Steenkamp (26) and Hendrik Vermeulen (23) were arrested after a special investigation and joint operation between Crime Intelligence Ermelo and Secunda, the Hawks and police in Ermelo.

The suspects appeared in the Ermelo Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday on charges of dealing narcotics.

All three were released on bail of R1000 each and the case was postponed to July 8 to allow for further investigation.
