A vehicle that was parked inside a yard was recently stolen in Sakhile.
According to the complainant, he parked it and ensured that all the windows were closed and locked it before going to sleep.
He said he realised that it was gone the next morning when he was getting ready for work.
The complainant also said he immediately went out of the house to look for it.
According to him, he saw his vehicle travelling at a high speed with two men, unknown to him, inside.
“I tried to stop them, to no avail.”
He said he stood on the street helpless, not knowing what to do.
According to him, the vehicle was not insured.
He said he normally parks it in front of the kitchen door because he does not have a garage.
The complainant told the police that he can not identify the two men that were in his car.
A case of theft of a motor vehicle was opened.
The Vehicle Investigating Service (VIS) in Ermelo is investigating the case.
