Video – Famsa marches to magistrate’s court
Organisation asks for stronger judgments for abusers.
SECUNDA – Families South Africa (Famsa) and various stakeholders have embarked on a peaceful protest against women and child abuse on 27 November.
It formed part of 16 Days of Activism Against Women and Child Abuse.
Protesters handed over a memorandum at the Secunda Magistrate’s Court.
Ms Cathrine Mogodi, Famsa social workers, said they want stricter bail and stronger judgements for women and child abusers.
